Senior Electrical Engineer – Stavanger

Introduction

Location: Stavanger
Duration: 31/01/2025 – 31/12/2026

Function

  • Produce new documentation and drawings such as Heat Trace layouts, Light and small power layouts, etc.
  • Revise existing documentation and drawings
  • Produce work package for installation Produce calculations, short circuit, heat trace and lighting.
  • Order electrical materials needed for installation.
  • Must be able to understand P & IDs and drawings from different disciplines

Requirements

Required Education:

  • Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology degree with related Trade Certificates 

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years, within offshore-related projects on Norwegian shelf.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok
  • Knowledge of modifications on offshore installations when in operation
  • Experience in heat trace and LV installation
  • Experience with engineering systems like Febdok, Pims, ProArc, STID, ProCoSys, Heat Trace calculation, Tag-systems and Microstation, is preferred.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
  • Norwegian language is preferred.

Required Certificates:

  • EX- Basic EX course, minimum 6-8 hours.
  • FSE – High and low voltage with first aid.
